The operators of Renaissance Disco would like to apologize to its many patrons, for the inconvenience experienced at its 21st anniversary party the Blackjack Edition.
The party which was well attended took place at the Palisadoes Go Kart Track in Kingston. In an apology issued to the media, Delano Thomas of Renaissance Disco explained. ‘We would like to apologize to the patrons for the wet conditions at the venue, which was caused by a high tide which flooded the venue. Because of this we had to shut down all generators to avoid electrical damage to equipment and human safety’.
Added Thomas 'We almost postponed the party at last minute but the tide started to recede and we decided to go ahead with the party. It took us some amount of time to set up the venue and to do clean up operations. This caused a delay in the opening of the gates and resulted in a long line at the entrance of the venue'.
In closing Thomas said 'We at Renaissance value our patrons and thank them for their continued support over the years. We promise to continue to deliver quality entertainment and an enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere for our loyal patrons’.
